Caring for your Charcuterie Boards
ALWAYS hand wash your Charcuterie Board in warm, soapy water. Never place it in the dishwasher or leave it sitting in water. Once the Charcuterie Board is cleaned, remove excess water with a a clean dry towel. Allow the board to air dry completely and do not put it away wet. To maintain your Charcuterie Board, apply a thin layer of food-safe mineral oil once or twice a year. Wipe the Charcuterie Board with vinegar and lemon juice to disinfect it. This should be done whenever you cut meat on the board. Let stand one minute and rinse. Then apply the food-safe mineral oil.
